About Young Ahold Delhaize
Young Ahold Delhaize is the meeting place for young professionals of Albert Heijn, Etos, Gall & Gall and GSO. The board of YAD consists of 7 colleagues whom are working at different banners. Together they organize more than 35 events a year.
Young Ahold Delhaize strives to be a local hero and to actively connect young colleagues. Next to this mission the events fit to our strategy and are focused on development, diversity and wellbeing: future proof, together and (personal) health. Everybody is welcome at YAD, if you work at the headquarters, in the stores or when you are constantly on the road. Click here to become a member and sign up for your first event. Hi! My name is Annebeth, I am 27 years old and live in Amsterdam. I grew up in Apeldoorn after which I moved to Groningen to study International Business and Marketing Management/Intelligence. I started working for Albert Heijn as a Data Analyst in 2021. This summer I started my new job as an assortment specialist where I constantly aim to secure the most most optimal assortment in all of our stores. In my free time I like to cook and have dinner with friends, play sports (hockey/running/pilates), discover everything the city has to offer and travel. I look forward to see all of you at our events this year!

Hi! My name is Camar Mars, I am 28 years old and live in the magnificent city Schagen. I have worked at Albert Heijn for more than six years now and am currently working as a Data Specialist. In my free time i like to play tennis, sometimes try to become a Runner and mostly like to hangout with friends. Through YAD I have been able to meet a lot of new people and take part in a large variety of events over the last year. I hope that you, will enjoy it as much as I do. I myself am looking forward to making it a year to remember and hope to see you soon at one of our events!

Hoi! Ik ben Frank, 28 jaar en geboren en getogen in die mooie stad achter de duinen, Den Haag. Waar ik nog steeds met veel plezier woon. Hier vind je mij dan ook regelmatig in de kroeg om een speciaal biertje te drinken met m’n vrienden of op de squashbaan. Inmiddels al weer 12,5 jaar geleden begon mijn Albert Heijn carrière als frisdrank vuller in winkel, waar ik na een paar jaar de stap heb gemaakt naar Teamleider verkoopklaar. Aan het eind van mijn studie Bedrijfskunde heb ik in 2019 de stap gemaakt naar het hoofdkantoor waar ik bij de collega’s van Winkel Support aan de slag ging. Hun eerste daad was mij lid maken van Young Ahold. Na 3 jaar Winkel Support in verschillenden functies heb ik in 2022 de stap gemaakt naar het DC in Geldermalsen, waar in sindsdien werk als Teamleider van onze transport planners. De afgelopen 4 jaar heb ik met heel veel plezier aan heel veel events meegedaan, waarin ik mega veel nieuwe collega’s heb leren kennen. Dit jaar mag ik iets terug doen en daar ben ik ontzettend blij mee. Hopelijk tot snel op een van onze events!

Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself. I am Indji Tan, 32 years old and living in Amsterdam. Although I'm enjoying the city life there, my roots lie in the south of the Netherlands. This is also where I've learned to enjoy the goods thing in life as a true Burgundian (Bourgondiër). I finished my Bachelor at the Hotel Management School Maastricht and a Master in Controlling at Maastricht University. After my studies I moved to Amsterdam where I started working at Deloitte and also started my Executive master in Finance. During this Executive master, I first came in touch with Ahold Delhaize and decided to switch jobs about 2 years ago. Currently, I'm working as a Business Process Improvement Consultant within Business Services Finance (EBS), where I'm involved with the improvement and optimization of business processes. The vast variety of complex topics and the exposure to various departments and people within the organization is what I love most about this job. In the last two years, I had the honor of meeting numerous amazing people at various YAD events such as karaoke, the intercompany gala, the ski trip and the weekend abroad. I'm already looking forward to meet you all at the YAD events in 2024!

Hi! I am Julia, 23 years old and live in Diemen. I work as merchandising and sourcing assistant for Albert Heijn in team World Foods. Before this I did my internship at Albert Heijn and I studied International Business and Hospitality management at the hotelschool in Leeuwarden. In my free time I like to play hockey (also with Ahold Delhaize) and busy myself in the kitchen. I can't wait to see you all at one of our new YAD events in 2024. Hope to see you soon!

Hi! I am Lorraine, 23 years old and live in Assendelft. I grew up in Zaandam and therefore always had an interest in the large orange Ahold building. During my studies in Commercial Economics, I did internships at Etos and Albert Heijn and then ended up at Etos. i'm working there in the marketing team for almost 2 years now. I am responsible for the Etos folder and all radio commercials. After a day of work I like to be in the kitchen trying out new recipes. I am always up for a drink or fun activity with friends. I can't wait to see you at one of our events soon!

Hi everyone, Cool you're looking at my profile. To introduce myself, my name is Maurizio van Dalen and I'm currently 27 years old. My roots are from the very south of the Netherlands, namely Zeeuws-Vlaanderen (part of the province Zeeland). At age 8, I moved to Eindhoven. My whole childhood I lived there until I moved to Delft, to study at the Delft University of Technology. To date, I still live in Delft, but I am planning to move to Amsterdam. At this moment I am working as a Specialist Innovation at Albert Heijn eCommerce. I also worked parttime for Etos as Replenishment & Fulfilment Planner and as Teamlead at the Albert Heijn XL store in Rotterdam (AH 1648). I am very happy to work for Albert Heijn, as our company is in middle of society. The passion for the Albert Heijn brand started at my grandmother, she is already doing for more than 42 (!) years groceries at the same Albert Heijn store (AH 1160 in Oostburg). Since I started full time working I had the opportunity to join a lot of the events of YAD like; Padel, new years, summer drinks and intercompany drinks; the weekend abroad and; intercompany festival. I am looking forward to meet you all the upcoming year at the different YAD events to come!
